Privacy Policy — Seven Capital Advisory

This policy explains what personal information Seven Capital collects through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Seven Capital Co Pty Ltd (ABN 56 671 902 702) is the entity responsible for it. We handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you, run the site, and see which of our ads and emails are working. That falls into three groups.

1. Information you give us

When you enquire: your name, email address, your company or website (optional), and anything you choose to write in the message field.
When you take the Seven Score: your answers to the questions, plus the email address and revenue range you enter to see your result.
When you download the 7 Numbers guide: your email address, and your name if you give it.
If you email us directly at hello@sevencapitalco.com.au, we keep that correspondence so we can help you.

Please don't send us sensitive information through this website — things like health details, government identifiers, or bank and card numbers. We don't ask for them here, and this site isn't the place to share them.

2. Marketing and analytics identifiers

When you arrive from one of our ads or emails, your browser may carry small tags that tell us where you came from. We collect and store these so we can measure what's working:

Google Click ID (gclid) — a code Google adds to the link when you click one of our ads.
UTM parameters — the source, medium, campaign, term and content tags we add to our own links so we can tell which ad or email brought you here.
Google Analytics 4 — standard analytics data such as the pages you view, roughly how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address.

3. Cookies

The site uses cookies and similar browser storage to remember where you came from (so the right attribution reaches us if you enquire later) and to run Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may work a little less smoothly if you do.

How we use it

To handle your enquiry — to read what you've sent, reply to you, and have a useful first conversation.
To keep a lead register — a simple record of enquiries so we can follow up properly and don't lose track of anyone.
To send you email — if you join our mailing list or download the guide, we may send you occasional useful emails. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
To measure our marketing — to see which ads and emails actually lead to enquiries, so we spend our budget on what works and stop what doesn't.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We never have and we won't. We share it in only a few, limited ways:

Conversion measurement with Google (enhanced conversions)

To measure our advertising accurately, we may share a hashed version of your email address with Google. Hashing turns your email into a scrambled string of characters before it leaves us — Google uses it only to match your enquiry back to an ad click and count it as a conversion. This is Google's "enhanced conversions" feature. It helps us understand which ads produce genuine enquiries; it isn't used to sell your details to anyone.

Service providers who help us run the business

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the site and reply to you — for example our website and form hosting provider, our email marketing platform, and Google's analytics and advertising tools. They may handle your information only to provide those services to us, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Where your information is stored

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information stays protected and is handled consistently with this policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Email marketing and unsubscribing

If you're on our mailing list, you can leave at any time — click the unsubscribe link at the foot of any email, or write to hello@sevencapitalco.com.au and we'll remove you. We'll still keep records tied to any enquiry or engagement, but you won't get marketing emails.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we have a reason to. Enquiry and lead records are kept while we're in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off and meet our record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is retained for the standard periods set in Google Analytics. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Access, correction and opt-out

You can ask us at any time to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you;
correct anything that's wrong or out of date;
take you off our mailing list; or
delete your information, where we're not required to keep it.

Email hello@sevencapitalco.com.au and we'll deal with it promptly. There's no charge for a reasonable request.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No website or email system is ever completely secure, so we can't promise perfect security — but we treat what you send us as confidential, and we handle it carefully.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or the law change. The current version always lives on this page, with the "last updated" date at the top.
